If you watched this video give some credit to my six year old for holding the camera steady for me! 😉
I am so excited guys! You have no idea how much I am truly loving my new HP Envy #Intel2in1.
I got this baby, yeah I’m calling it my “baby” right now, last Wednesday the day before my oldest graduated Kindergarten and I’ve had about a week to set it up and start using it and I’m really enjoying the flexibility it gives me, not to mention its sleek style, detachable keyboard and touch screen for when I just want to pick up the screen and bring it with me!
I just have to let you know how much the HP Envy Intel 2in1 has changed my blogging life, helped me organize my family life, and just how fun it is to use. Currently the laptop that is in my office, is pretty old. It has windows 7 on it and let me tell you, its slow…I usually turn it on, wait for it to boot up and start a load of laundry while I’m waiting, sure multi-tasking is what I tend to do anyway…but a slow computer is not really what I would call efficient.
Now thanks to Intel2in1 technology, tt has all the functionality of a high powered laptop, and all the fun of a tablet. Which I absolutely can’t get enough of!
Compared to my old laptop, the HP Envy Intel2in1 has double the memory, space and speed! It loads websites in seconds! Being a blogger I am always on the web, researching, connecting with other bloggers, blogging, responding to emails, scheduling things in this crazy calendar of mine (see below) looking up recipes and menu planning for the week…oh my gosh you can’t even begin to understand how much I use technology just to organize family and work life, and now it just got faster and more convenient!

With my old laptop (four years old), I got maybe 30 minutes on my battery before I had to plug it in. My battery charging chord is behind my big ol desk and I don’t care to crawl under it to unplug it and take the laptop charging chord with me to the various spots I like to work. But with the Intel2in1, I get four solid hours of work time on the battery alone! So I can bring it outside on the patio when the kids are playing and continue my work while keeping an eye on the kids this summer!
I use this device to schedule out the month in advance. This is my summer calendar:
As you can tell, I have a lot going on, from swim lessons to play dates and play groups, to our Library reading program and VBS. I love using this calendar to schedule out my days, and the #Intel2in1 helps me edit my calendar with ease so I can access it from any device.
I use technology to plan out my weeks and months and even meals! I like to menu plan that way I don’t spend too much at the store at one time. I use Pepperplate, found in the google app store to store all my recipes and menu planning for the week. I keep old recipes here and pull it up and add it to the week’s menu and the HP Envy lets me do this at the touch of the screen.
I like being able to plan out the week’s meals, here’s a blank slate:
Being able to detach the HP Envy #Intel2in1 and use this right on my kitchen counter while I’m cooking up a recipe is so nice!!!
I just recently made a good batch of salsa, (approved by my six year old)
…and set up the HP Envy to catch up on my latest episode of Nashville on HuluPlus.
I love that I can sit on the couch and catch up on the news or read something in comfort.
Or simultaneously get work done at the dinning room table while helping my son with his school work.
Whether its for fun or work my HP Envy Intel 2 in 1 helps me do both with ease, amazing speed, portability and functionality!
How do you use technology to help make your life easier?
